# TD Bank: ¿Cómo obtener el transit number?

## En particular, para TD Bank o Toronto-Dominion Bank el transit number puede presentar solo 4 dígitos o en ocasiones 3 dígitos.

Para obtener el *transit number* se debe acceder al sitio web o móvil del banco, donde el propietario de la cuenta debe ingresar con sus credenciales.

#### ¿Qué pasa si el Transit Number tiene 4 dígitos?

En el caso de que el *transit number* tenga **4 dígitos**, para completar los 5 dígitos, se añade el quinto dígito según la locación de la sucursal, de acuerdo al siguiente listado:

- - British Columbia y Yukon: 0
    - Alberta, Northwest Territories y Nunavut: 9
    - Saskatchewan: 8
    - Manitoba y North-Western Ontario: 7
    - Eastern Ontario incluyendo Ottawa y alrededores: 6
    - Ontario incluyendo Toronto y alrededores: 2
    - Western Quebec incluyendo Montreal y alrededores: 1
    - Eastern Quebec (incluyendo Labrador): 5
    - New Brunswick: 4
    - Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland (excluyendo Labrador): 3

Ejemplo: Si en este caso la locación de la sucursal de la cuenta es British Columbia, el ***transit number*** sería: **12340**

¿Qué pasa si el Transit Number tiene 3 dígitos?

Se debe **anteponer un 0 al valor** y luego agregar **el quinto dígito** según lo mencionado en la sección anterior.
